Title: Kajika Styk quiver
Post by: HATCHCHASER on August 30, 2009, 09:40:00 AM
Anybody shooting a bow quiver on a Kajika Styk?  If so what are you using.  Mine is 56" and I draw 30" plus.  My arrows are full length, 32.5".  Thanks in advance.

I have a 56" Kajika and I'm using a Thunderhorn on mine.

I have a bolt on EFA I will just have to give a try.  Did you use the same bolts or longer ones?

I'm going to tap mine for a Selway side mount. With the very short riser, the limb mount type has the hood and the grippers too close together.IMHO

Thanks Fred.  I'm gonna give it a try.  I'll probably just get that extention from EFA.  These bow sure do shoot well.

The kajika is the best shooting bow I've ever owned.

I haven't got to stretch mine out yet.  I have a limited space to shoot here but will be home all of labor day weekend.  I'm gonna get some pictures of her up as soon as I get another camera.  She's the purtiest bow I have ever had.  Bacote and Osage.  It is also the only bow I have been able to shoot under 60", and I have tried most of the big name short bows.  This 56"er only gains a fuzz over 2 pounds per inch from 28" to 30".  It's 52@28" and a 56.5@30".  Ablsolutely no finger pinch at 30" even with my gorilla like hands.

I used the same bolts on mine also but left out the plastic washer per JD, I've also added antler limb bolts!!  I have both the recurve and longbow limbs and love shooting them both, smooth as silk, fast and very, very quiet!! This bow is a hunting machine!!
1/4away I feel the same("The kajika is the best shooting bow I've ever owned".)

I'm not using a quiver on my 56" Kajika...I've been shooting it without.  It is so well balanced that I don't need one.  When I was shooting my 60" Kajika Longbow I used the Great Northern quick detach and original screws.  I might try one again in the future but not as of now.  I'm using a backpack side quiver for bears starting Tuesday   :biglaugh:   that has a nice ring to it!

Current bow (56"):

I'd like to buy a black Great Northern strap-on for my gray actionwood Kajika. I'm currently using a strap-on 4 arrow EFA. My arrows are 29" long.
