We are proud to announce a cooperative agreement between Black Mountain Bows and Dryad Bows INC. Effective today Dryad will have responsibility for building the Sheepeater bow for Black Mountain. Brent Rudolph will continue to do development and be the marketing and sales storefront for Black Mountain.
Look for Brent at east coast shows representing and selling both Dryad and Black Mountain bows.
We will be together at the IBO Trad Worlds in Erie, PA next month.
We are very excited about this and look forward to continued production of the same great quality with the capability to build higher volumes.
Brent, Mike and Jason
Will all the bows be listed on your website? Thanks. Ken
Congrats, sounds like a good partnership.
Rusty
We will be linking the sites together so you can navigate back and forth easily.
MIke
AAHHHhhhhhhhh!
Synergy at its best!!
Brent is on his way home this morning after spending a very short 4 days here in the shop. We were able to build some bows together and have a good time exchanging lies. LOL
We will be getting up too full speed with the Sheepeaters in the next couple of weeks and will be filling the existing orders and building some show bows.
The additional bows will not effect the Dryad build schedule and will not delay any bow deliveries.
Mike
Congrats!!
Outstanding News! Cograts on the new partnership! Hope everthing goes well!
You will do well! Good luck Mike, Jason, and Brent!

Well Mallard,

Congrats guys...a marriage made on Tradgang...both bowyers products are excellent...I can hardly wait to see what these brainstormers will come up with!!
Well, I'm back in Virginia. I would Like to express my appreciation to the Westvangs for their hospitality and support. I have had some good friends, but Mike and Jason are good as they come. Personally, the "merging" of the two companies came very naturally. It is no secret that I had been getting all my lams from Dryad for some time now. As a bowyer, you want the best material you can get your hands on for a build. I had always admired the attention to detail they put into grinding the lams I used. You know that a man is serious about his trade when you can see his best work consistently in minor details. So, here we are.
This business is about men and women of common interest finding pleasure in the simple things in life. Mike and Jason are a couple of guys who love to hunt and shoot, and lie about both subjects. They are honest, hard working, dependable, and passionate. It shows in their bows. I will ally with men of their character any day. I am proud to associate myself with the Westvangs.
This opportunity will give me time in the shop to work on developing some limb designs I have had in my head for some time. Time to spend with family and friends, and time to commit to some of the wonderful opportunities on the east coast to get out to some shoots and shows. I might even get to hunt this year.
So look me up, I will be the guy with the brown hair that turned gray, then went white. I'll proudly be flying the Dryad and Black Mountain Bow banners. As for bows, I will offer you either with pride.
To my loyal and patient customers who have been so very understanding throughout my move east, Thank you. Your bows are on the way.
Brent
Thank you for the update Brent!
Sounds like a fabulous partnership.
Looking forward to placing my order for a LH Sheepeater Obsidian in the near future.
Have a great 2009 hunting season!
Shoot straight, Shinken

hey brent will dryad be the ones building your redtail hawk longbows or will you still make them? cant wait for mine that maccasar ebony is gonna look awesome
Oooooo I was talking to Mike yesterday. He had a Sheepeater that was 29# Hmmmmm Debbie is 5'1&1/4" tall (and don't ya forget the 1/4"). She is going to Traditional IBO with me. She didn't want to drag her ILF kit along. That little bow would make her a full lenght bow at her draw.
She is shoots 28# with her ILF kit so I ask Mike to bring the bow with him to Erie. A new bow will make her wanta shoot. well that is if I can get some arrows whipped up for it :)
rusty
Yep that is a beauty and a perfect bow for Debbie. Now all we have too do is figure out how our formula was that far off. LOL
I'll post some pics as soon as they come out of the finish booth. There are a bunch of bows in there right now for customers and to take too Erie.
Mike
Hi ya Rutsy!! Glad to see you found a good woman.
Mike, am I a customer with a bow in the booth
Dano,
Your limbs are ready to glue up. Got busy with all these others and didn't get yours done.
Heck you said "no hurry" LOL
Mike
I know, I just miss my Orion. :bigsmyl:
She'll be home soon.
Mike
Thank you Mikey!!
