Title: Selway Hood Broke
Post by: Dustin Waters on August 24, 2009, 12:53:00 PM
Does anyone have a remedy for fixing the mounting bracket that is held in place by the limb bolt on a selway quiver.  It is an "L" shaped bracket that appears to be made of plastic.  It broke right on the bend.  Im sure its from the years of laying on the ground, accidental droppings and what not, but rather than drop the 100 or so bucks to get a whole new quiver id like to explore options to fix it up.

You guys are a resourceful bunch.  Any hints?

You could make a new bracket, use the same or a little heavier gauge metal.

Or try calling Selway and see if they will sell you a new bracket only

You might be able to buy a corner bracket at the hardware store that could be modified to work. Selway might be a good place to look, too, they may send you a replacement bracket for free.

I've always gotten great customer service from Selway. I'd start with them.
