Howdy All-
Had a question after playing around with Stu's Arrow Program, has anyone plugged in their AD Trad Lite shafts into the formula and if so, what are the variables used?
The ADs are not an option in the dropdown menu and I imagine they have to be entered in under the "other" category.
Another question to the AD users - any sig difference between the Trad Lite black and wood grain AD shafts in weight/spine etc?
Thanks
David
I don't think the AD's are in there and since you can't enter a grains per inch number you can't add 'em. Don't know if Stu is working on it or not but with the taper it just doesn't work... at least that's what I think.

I had emailed Stu about the AD's, and he indicated that it was hard to build them into his formula, simply because they are tapered. He did suggest the door was still open for a future version of his calculator, once he figures out how to apply them.
I tried to plug them in but the results were bad.
I have found that the wood grain tend to be a touch stiffer. I shoot the black ones and tried the wood grain but they flew different for me.

You have a PM......
Appreciate the info guys and thanks for the PM Joe.
I was actually playing around with some arrows I bought from Joe 3 years ago, they've been shot HARD and the fletching is still going strong. Prob the best fletched arrows I've ever bought from anyone.
The AD Trad Lite wood grain are a little stiffer than the black.
In my experience when bare-shafting the AD tapered shafts the difference in spine between fletched and unfletched shafts was greater than straight carbons. Anyone else notice this ?
