Just thought I would share some recent stump shooting photos. This is the beautiful wine country hills here in a part of Sonoma county where I deer and hog hunt.

For those that are interested, I did this camo job using camo spray paint with a sponge applicator. Doing it this way has some great advantages: (1) you dont have to tape off any parts of the bow, (2) you don't have to worry about spray going everywhere, (3) it gives you great dark and light contrasts just like being in the shade and (4) I like it!

That is a sweet looking Bow. What are it's specs?
Beautiful bow! :readit: :D
Thanks Bretto, this one is a 3 pc takedown of course and is marked 62# @ 28. This one was made for me by Jerry Dishon before he sold the company. Bow is 66 inches long. I also have a one piece Game Getter with carbon that has a riser made of Wenge and Osage, also 66 inches. I have two of the older "Gamebuster" models as well (a 66" and a 63").
2-Big: Glad you like yours as well. Once I started shooting this bow it is hard to go back to anything else. The Stotler boys (the 3 of them) really nailed it when they started out to make a bow with the best attributes of a recurve (ie: stability of a long riser and wide, flat limbs) and mary that to the flexibility and forgiveness of a "D" shaped longbow. Even Howard Hill said they were the fastest, most stable bows he had ever shot at the time. It's just too bad you cannot get the "Gamebuster" model made any longer but there are many used ones sitting on bow racks that are out there. Take care.
Never laid hands on one of those but have always loved the design! Hopefully I will get to shoot one one day.
Great pics, thanks for sharin

Some good fun, there.
