Hope I didn't overlook a similar thread, but...
Impossible for me to believe that TBM is 20 years old with the issue I received yesterday! A friend showed me the first issue, I got a copy at the book store, and then subscribed and have every single issue.
Enjoyed the interview Don did with TJ/Larry and would love even more details as to the leap of faith they took in providing the magazine that so many of us treasure.
I recall the first issues just providing such a mind-boggling array of advertisers of products I couldn't find anywhere else. I switched to traditional bows in the fall of 1988 so my own conversion corresponded pretty close with the magazine's development and there is no doubt that TBM provided a lot of information and motivation over the years.
I would just like to thank TJ Conrads and Larry Fischer and their supporting cast for investing their time and money into the venture; I enjoy every single issue.
Absolutely!
As a new trad shooter/bowhunter (back in 05) serving a tour in Afghanistan, TJ and Robin sent me back issues, and even peanut brittle! (that didn't last long once the guys saw it)
Excellent people, excellent magazine.....I look forward to each new one.
Of all the magazines I receive on a regular basis, TBM is still top of the list. Happy Birthday! and many more!
:clapper:
Man am I glad you were born or I would be bored.
Darn it Bryce. I haven't got my copy yet - it just isn't fair! I had all mine bound 2 years ago - glad I did it.
