Well someone mentioned seeing a bow at JD's last week with water moccasin skins if I recall correctly. I was just there Friday. I am thinking I am happy I didn't see that one, but I am not sure. Someone buy it before I my next trip.
Snake skins on the 1pc are northern water snakes from Missouri. I have one more set of bigger skins in stock. I also have a few sets of copperheads ready yo go on bows. The bows range fron 56" to 62" in length.
56" Mojo with watersnakes 55#@28"
56" Kajika with copperheads 53#@28
60" Kajika with stained as llimbs 51#@28"
62" Mojo cocobolo and bocote 51#@28"
Well thanks a lot I just ruined my keyboard drooling over the copperhead bow. ;) Man I wish I had money!
JD makes it tuff to save any money  JD makes the best bows out there. :archer:
great looking bows!
Very nice
I love me some snake skin!!!
Those are sure are some pretty bows. What are the prices like?
Great bows there JD,,Love that takedown.
Mgobo go to his web page, very reasonable.
J.D. Can you put copperhead skins on a Whisperstik I already have??? Will it blend in with the riser overlays??? How much would it cost??
JD those look great...all I can say is "Winner Winner Chicken Dinner" <-- inside joke there sorry! :biglaugh:
Stopped by Jim's place today and shot a bit during lunch hour from his porch to the "bear" target in the front lawn. Shot 2 of his "personal bows", including the Kajika...man is that a good shooting bow. I am not a good curve shooter but had no problem smacking arrow after arrow. I was surprised that the 56"er drew like butter. I shoot 600gr arrows and from the 53# bow you could really only hear the beaver puffs on the string swoosh. I may have to sell my one piece to help purchase one. The grip seems a bit different as well and fits my hand like a glove. Nice design! I don't expect to see a "why is my bow noisy" post from these!
The 56" bows JD builds are surprisingly smooth. I have shot many 60" bows that were not as smooth. You should try a 62".
The Kajikas are amazing. I have had many high end bows and these bows are right up there in performance.
