Im trying to get some info/feedback on the above mentioned Magnus II/Magnus Stingers 125gr 2blade.
I moved up to 2219's out of my Bob Lee 58" 56# takedowm. Since moving I see that the 2219 group much tighter and penetrate deeper than my 2018. The problem is when I swith to broadheads from field points, they are all over the place. Ive used them for years w/o a problem on various arrows.......
I just ordered the 125gr Woodsmans b/c I heard that they fly well and put down game w/ proper shot placement.
Any insight would be helpfull

I may be crazy, but 2219s out of that bow seem very stiff to me. I would think a 2117 or 2020 would be closer. That may be the reason for the poor broadhead flight....
Chances are its your arrows not tuned to the bow, not the broadheads. Fletching will correct the fieldpoint but the broadheads to much for them to correct. How long are your 2219, they are a pretty heavy spined arrow?
They are 28" with 5" Right wing Fletch......i paper tuned them and have no kick or porpoising..... I just love em bc they penetrate deep and group very tight....
2219 spines at #105 lbs. 2216 would be better.
Way to stiff 2117 2018 would be a better choice or you can always try front loading the 2219 arrows shold be putting bullet holes through paper especially with broadheads.If your looking for a heavier arrow try playing around with more front of center but spine is critical to a well flying deep penatrating set up.
I think 2018 is the best choice for a 28" arrow tipped with a 125 grain 2 blade broadhead for a 56# bow. 2117, 2216 and 2219 are too stiff in my opinion for a 28" arrow at 56#.
Magnus makes great heads, I've shot both. I'm currently using the 125 grain four blade stinger,, great head. Work on your arrow/bow tunning a bit more and I think you'll find just about any BH will fly well. At one time I actually had an Abowyer,,magnusII,,160 grain snuffers all flying on the some arrow/bow combo and they all flew like my feild points. After that its going to be just your personal choice of BH. Hope that helps bud,,take care.,JB

What is front loading arrows?... I have been told by many that have my set up they use 2219 arrows for heavier game?
Its adding more weight to the front of arrow using heavier addaptors,inserts,and broadheads.although insert choices are limited for aluminum shafts.Do a search on EFOC extreme front of center and there is a bunch of info there also in the Ashby reports.Just curious why are you changing setups.I'm from the school that says if it ain't broke don't fix it,although I do love tinkering with different setups.
105# spine arrows out of a 56# bow. dang. You'll probably need close to 400 gr up front to bring those into tune.
Broadheads magnify tuning errors. Paper tuning, when done correctly, can get you close, but the final tuning step is always to shoot broadheads mixed in with fieldpoints. If the arrows aren't grouping and flying together, you have a tuning problem.

Does anyone have any info on what that adapter is and how id mount the woodies in my xx75's?
And can I still use my screw in broadheads? If not does anyone know of a system that works for weight foward adding to xx75's with screw in broadheads?
