Guys, I'm apparently not as "resourceful" as I thought I was. I'm wanting some high density foam to use inside my Kwikee Kwiver hood and danged if I can find any. Any ideas on where or what I could use?
Thanks guys and gals.

My first thought would be a "noodle" for swimming. I've used them for many things and I dare say it might be good in a "pinch". At least until you can find the right replacement.
Good luck.
You might get by with a replacement piece of foam from 3R.. They sell them for a couple of different quiver hoods. You'd have to trim to fit.
Here's a thought that just entered my mind...If you or any body has any 3-D tarkets that are shot up pretty bad and laying around you could savage an area that doesn't get shot up much ...A keyhole saw can get a section cut out in a block and then you can file with a rasp or belt sander to fit the hood...Someone has got to have one they leave laying around...God Bless, Keefers <")))><
maybe try a craft store. they might have something. to get you by.
Good ideas fellas! I knew I'd get some help here. The 3-D target is a great idea...I may try that. If I do, I'll let you know how it worked.
Thanks again!
I buy high density foam from a local company that rents canoes and kayaks; they use it for additional flotation in the boats. For $3.50 I get a piece that is big enough to fill two to four quiver hoods. The foam is the quietest I have found and remains pliable at thirty below zero (I haven't tested it when it is colder then that).
Walt has it! Canoe or kayak stores carry lots of the exact stuff most quivers use.
Awesome! I'll check that out. Thanks again. Oh and Walt - no worries about the foam lasting at 30 below for me...because I won't last at below 30!!!!! Hahaha
Old Boogie boards, for those with no ocean, it is used to ride waves, you can get about 20-30 out of one board.
The kids get rid of them every few years, you might try and do a search on that auction, you can get one for $5-$10, I been using them for years.
Ask Barry Wensel thats what he uses.
Limbsaver.com... They have inserts for the Kwikee.

I go to Big Lots and buy the(garden section)foam pad for the knees while digging weeds. About $1.50. Normal colors are blue and light green. I have to cut out two pieces and glue them together then shape them to my quiver.
Very soft and quite closed foam.
Clay
A buddy of mine buys the exersise matts/pads.
