Title: Brandywine Arrows
Post by: Capt on August 07, 2009, 10:31:00 AM
I have been meaning to post this for a while but went on vacation and didn't get the chance.  Brandywine Arrows has incredible customer service and a high quality product.  I ordered my arrows on a Weds and got them on Monday of the next week.  The arrows (custom) are sitka spruce shafts with real turkey feathers.  No shipping cost.  Ross and his wife are great people and really love their work.  I can't say enough about the quality of the arrows and the service.

My favorite dozen arrows from Brandywine gave me many of these! I got these the same year I bought a Dakota from Bob Morisson at the Baltimore shoot. They made a good team! You gotta have some appreciation of how chuffed I was, getting my picture took with the "fat lens" while the folks behind me were searching the stony creekbed for their arrow fragments!   :D

Some of the dozens that I have bought from Brandywine.

Ross and Honey three years ago. Dangit, I forgot the dog's name again. Some highbrow moniker.

Yet another lucky example of an arrow's accuracy, one year later...

Ross and Honey are my least-kept secret. One of the highlights of my Baltimore trip each spring is stopping by their booth and eyeballing the new wares. Honey is a sweetheart, and I thoroughly enjoy talking with her and hearing of her adventures. She is a well-traveled artist, and well-versed on many subjects. Ross is a sweetheart too, but don't let him know I said that or he'll break my kneecaps or something, just to show that he isn't. I have seen him exhibit rash acts of kindness when children are involved, however.

Great pictures, I made my daughter a quiver like yours just the other day!!
Ross was so sweet to my daughter at Compton this year.  You can tell he and Honey just enjoy life and what they do and people in general. Another example of the GREAT people in our sport.
They also put out a great product. Can't say enough about the arrows.

Just wanted to bump this back up.  Even with all the snow problems you guys have had out East; Ross had my arrows to me in a week.  Straight shafts great fletching and just GREAT people.
