Hah! Not what I thought it would be either!

This was funny, I was literally sitting at the downstairs table sharpening an Elite I had been working with, and the cat chased this guy in the room and cornered him. I gave him a poke and finished it. Not his night!
On a serious note, I really like these new Elites.
First blood... Woo Hoo!!! That may the first kill I've heard of without a bow... was it even on an arrow? :knothead:
Anybody can hit a big 'ol deer.....it take a real marksman to skewer one of those buggers LOL.
How well did it penetrate the shield??
That has to be P&Y what did it field dress :biglaugh:
Are you gonna get it mounted?
ever hear of Hantaviruses be carefull
How far did you have to track it?.
Well-done, Tim. Is that a Woody Weight you're using there?
Don't overcook those backstraps. 4-7 seconds on the grill.
:bigsmyl:
Did you get a pass through.
About four more of those and you could make a sandwich... :D :D :D :D

You had to be in fear of your life! - that might have been truly a sefl defense kill!
 :notworthy:
How was the floor? Did it survive.
"What's for dinner?" hahaha

nice kill but im curious about the blood trail and was it a pass through?
Thats awesome....the tip didn't even curl!!!!
Good thing the cat was there in case it charged. :D
I didn't shoot it, I "speared" it with the arrow the Elite was on. Little guy has (had) terrible timing!
I didn't get a pass through due to the carpet, but did achieve full penetration! I can't afford taxidermy, maybe a European mount for this one. :smileystooges:
Great shot. Did the same thing in my hunting trailer a few years back. As said above anyone can kill a big old deer. What you got is a real traditional trophy. :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
That's a booner for sure, he'll probably go top 10 in the book!
Widowbender,
I don't think I could get that hungry. :)

Now that right there is funny! I nearly busted out laughing at that one.
I find it hard to believe that you used a Woodsman to get'em. Looks more like a 2-blade bloodtrail to me!
If you get a pass thru with a 4 blade it will already be quartered for easy packing back to camp!
who knows when the non-vented screw-ins will be available? are they ready now? what weights?
Johnny, they're already up on 3R's site; 160 and 190 gr, ventless, and 1 1/8 inch diameter.
Some of us are gonna have to put our money where our mouths were.

Just saw this, I've been away for a while.. This is truly Hysterical..
Chances are you were "Over Bowed"
Wait a minute, was it a buck or a doe?
You have to pick a spot a very small spot and concentrate.
