Title: NEW Premium Steel BH Adapters
Post by: 3R Shooter on August 06, 2009, 02:09:00 PM
Hey guys,

I just put online our New Premium Steel Broadhead Adapters:   http://www.3riversarchery.com/Broadheads+Points+Inserts+%26+Adapters+Premium+Steel+Broadhead_c57_s47_p258_i0252X_product.html

They are stronger than other steel adapters on the market due to their thicker walls (see image). Flawless 5 degree taper for precision fitting. Also have a twisted thread for a perfect snug fit & incredible hold.

100 & 75gr available currently.

Looks good, but it's too bad you don't offer these in a heavier size, perhaps a solid insert.  That way guys could bump their Woodsman Elites up in weight even more without resorting to using brass inserts or weight tubes . . .  a simpler solution and something to ponder.  I'm looking for a steel insert OVER 100 grains.

Gary,

They offer one in 125 gr, I have a few, they are nearly solid except for a tiny bit of dishing at the tip:   http://www.3riversarchery.com/Broadheads+Points+Inserts+%26+Adapters+Broadhead+Adapters%2C+Steel_c57_s47_p258_i4226X_product.html

For even more weight you can add on the Woody Weights:

Jason, those are a different item that you have linked to. We are working on heavier weights in the new Premium BH Adapters, but I am not sure when they will be ready.

Keep us posted Johnathan, I'm ready to buy now . . . in the meantime we could pour some lead into the insert cavity and beef it up some:^)

That is excellent! I am truly impressed that 3Rivers keep an ear to the ground and made a change when they heard that the 75 grain adaptors were failing occasionally. Hats off to 3Rivers! Thanks!

That't cool...I've never had a problem with the old one's except an occasional bend on a super hard hit    :knothead:

But it's good to know that you've beefed them up

Too bad they don't have a no vented blade WW. The extra weight, No whistle, No drag from the vents. 1 1/8" hole,,, (that would require larger stock to start with)..Lots of new stuff coming, so maybe it will happen  :)
