I wandered into the local bow shop yesterday with a new Mohawk 55#, and a dozen arrows that I believed to be underspined.
There were a few guys hanging out behind the range and I asked if they could observe the arrow flight and help me determine what kind of arrows I needed (I was dead set on spending some money...).
One fellow spent about 30 minutes with me and helped tune my brace height and nock point - suddenly my bow was throwing 'darts' with the arrows that I walked in with.
As cool as it was to see the arrow flight improve - It should be noted that the guy who helped me turned out to be one of the custom arrow builders who supplied stock to the shop. He could have just as easily sold me something; but rather he took some of his own time to provide a bit of guidance.
It was a great end to a stressful work day - and I needed to share.

IT SURE IS NICE WHEN PEOPLE HELP YOU OUT. I'VE GOT A #46 MOHAWK AND LOVE IT
What bow shop did you go to in AK? I know a few of the guys that go to King's Nock in Fairbanks, that shoot trad. Glad to see you found someone to help you out.
Badger -
I went to Backcountry Archery, on Arctic drive in Anchorage. I'll definitely go back.
