Their first exposure to shooting was this March at out house. This was yesterday and today.
After a day at the pool they wanted to shoot before dinner last night. I had a bag of balloons so we put them up and started to pop them. Great fun for kids. Their form was better than March and they were stronger. Almost 5 y.o. Donald was hitting them. I then made them pick a balloon and shoot at it rather than "flock shoot". They shot after dinner until dark and we got at it again today after breakfast.
The two older ones, Nicholas 9 and Ben 7 moved up to the 30# Browning I shot at ETAR and I moved up to my '65 Kodiak 41#. Ben was a litte over bowed but since his brother moved up he wanted to also. Donald although the youngest and slightly overbowed at 20#@24" is the most driven and would shoot all day long if you let him.
Here are the pics.
Good dynamic release.
