I gotta say I have never been on a more enjoyable hunt. Tom really works hard setting this up and it doesn't stop there. In camp, he is busy busy every minute. I mean the man never sits down! You will not find anyone that does more to make things run smoothly.
Tom calls Bowdoc the "chief cook and social director" and you can bet he keeps things "social directed" plus the guy is a gourmet cook too boot. You'll wish you had a tape recorder to record his BS for posterity. Course you would have to heavily edit it for women, children, and baptist preachers. ;)

You don't want to miss this hunt! My first time last June and I will be back in 2011 - next spring I am hunting farther east in NB, but I will be back to BQ. I had bears around me every time on stand and that was the report from most of the hunters in camp. Tom and his crew put on a great event. You owe it to yourself to attend this one.

Tom I had a bunch of friends and family at the camp the last two weeks for squirrel season in Ville Platte (a yearly ritual).Not one saw a copperhead or anything else to send you but still looking.bowdoc will try it soon on the wife to make sure too afraid to try it on the boarhogs at the camp till I learn.Cannot get leasons in 2010 got other plans but 2011 look out.Cooked a bear stew on a bunch of guys this weekend just right and my bear sausage turned out great also,going to try bacon wraped bear backstraps and deer backstraps next trip with the family.Also brought bear sausage to the L.S.U tailgate party and it was a hit.Kip
