just curious wanted to see what the ratio was between ground&ground blind hunters vs tree stand hunters as for myself I move way to much to hunt from the ground Im almost always in a tree

From the ground, and I find I can easily move to make things append for me.

Ground....
Both.
Ground, at 6'6" 310lbs it's hard for me to trust a tree stand. Seen too many folks fall out either from breakage or stupid on their part by not using a safety harness. I like the ground.
I like ground hunting, keep the wind in yourface and the sun at your back, and make sure ma, ma has the frying pan hot for when you get home.
Both!
99% Ground
90% tree I have a hard time sitting in one place on the ground. Love to spot and stalk though. Usually what I try to do on really windy days.
Interesting, One says ground hunting gives him mobility and ability to adjust.. Next a guy says, a tree stand keeps him in one place.. Hmmm different ways of saying the same things and different ways at looking at things.
I do both, but waiting for whitetails setting quiet and still is the name of the game. I guess that's why I am 90% about 15 feet up. I do like to prep my stand sights months ahead of season, so visiblity and shooting windows aren't a problem.
I like doing both. Each place I hunt has different ways to hunt it. I think setting up on the ground in a clearcut with only a couple of shooting lanes at 15 yards and under is really exciting. Those 5 yard ground shots will really mess with your nerves. But hunting an Oak flat during the pre rut and rut out of a tree can be just as exciting as well. Last year I used a decoy and I loved watching bucks come in to it and circle down wind something that I couldn't get away with on the ground.
Never hunted from a stand-not opposed to it.........just like stalking or ambushing them on the ground!
100% ground blind.
I hunt whitetails from both ground blinds and tree stands. Some still hunting as well.
I have two tree stands and one ground blind
In Texas, it depends on where you hunt.
Some areas don't have any suitable trees.
Also some use tripods or box blinds built for bowhunting
If the spot dictates ground (no suitable tree)then I am ground poundin. If I can get 20 feet up then I am up. Terrain dictates I guess.

Ground. Hap
I hunted from trees for years. I now hunt only from the ground.
