it's all Al Gore's fault.... :readit:
I'm getting excited too Tracy. It's not that long before we go either. I have been hitting the bike, walking alot and shooting. Haven't really worried about the time of day I do it though as the temp hasn't been a factor. Ben
It's been over 100 every day now for a month........no rain for a month.....I've got cracks in my yard a small animal could fall into......sure am waiting for fall.

Hi Geno! It's just a few of us Tradgangers getting togather for mule deer and cow/spike elk hunt. I have been looking forward to this trip for a long time
Tracy
It was 55 here this morning when I got up, I don't remember the last lime we had temperatures like this in July
Lucas
We set a record here yesterday with a high temp of 62 degrees. Lowest high temperature for this day on record.
High country got a little snow yesterday, I heard.
I am not complaining, I enjoy the cooler weather feels like Elk season.
Kind of makes you think deer season is not far away. Feels great. I also have been on the bike getting ready my trip down under, and the weather makes it easier.
It does feel nice around here. I just hope it's not 100 degrees in October and November.
It was 55 degres here also Lucas  :D
Elk season is right around the corner Tater :archer:
It does feel great Mel, I love it. I'm usally stuck in the gym this time of year in fear of having a heat stroke ;) Good luck on your trip down under!
Tracy
Enjoy it while we can
Good Idea Shawn, guess I'll knock off early and work on a new stick.
hehe I do Love my job.
Sean
We have been having nice cool weather, too. Makes me want to find a mudhole to wallow in and pee on myself!
But, the weatherman is telling us that reality will set back in next week..back to the 90s in town, which should transfer to 80s in the mountains.
Hear the rut starting next full moon for Kansas, you'll be wasting your time hunting October and November.
57 here this morning Tracy! Feels like deer hunting weather.
If this is global warming sign me up!

I'm not sure this is a good thing...let's maintain AT LEAST a one arm length rule with him. Oh...stay up wind too.
Don't get used to it Bud. When you come out it will be in the 90's. With all you guys workin out, your gonna walk me into the ground! :help:
Don't worry, Ryan....I heard a rumor some were bringing generators to recharge their wheelchairs... :D
Tracy, don't get to excited and blow that hip out again. I've got a un-opened set of game bags You Guys are welcome to if You'd like them. Might come in handy if it's as warm as Ryan says. Let Me know if You want them.
bretto
Man, It does feels like deer season Scott :help:
It's always turns off hot when I go elk hunting Ryan so I'm prepared. The last elk I killed it was 95 and had to work my butt off to get that elk down the mountain. But I'd do it again for you guys no problem :archer:
Kevin you are on a roll today buddy :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
Thanks Brett, The hip is doing great it's the rest of this old body that hurts.
Tracy
Hey Ben, I'll see if I can get that special Lasagna recipe from Daniel and make up a batch for You to take along. LOL
Hope they are 4 wd wheelchairs. It's steep out here!! :biglaugh:
I hope we all have to work hard, man them elk taste good, especially the ones we can shoot!
Tracy, Everyone says they're looking forward to hunting with me the first time until they do. LOL Ben
I'm trying to enjoy the weather...I've been running his summer when I get out of work (out at midnight, usually running around 2 am...nice and cool) but I'm afraid we're going to pay for it...like in 2007 when it was 88 degrees and humid the first weekend of deer season in October. Then again it was a very hot summer that year. I remember sitting in a treestand sweating buckets and all I had on was light camo pants and a camo t-shirt. It was miserable to say the least!
We can keep this weather as far as I'm concerned...I know the farmers could use some warm weather to get things going...it has been a very cool dry summer, not always a good combo.
Minnesota bear season in 31 day!!!
Josh
cold (never out of 60 - 75) in VT this summer as well (May - July 20). Finally seeing some warm days 80+. Still alot of rain here, lots of rain!
Glad to see that you are recovering so well Tracy.
Sure has been a strange summer...we were sitting around campfires at Mojam for the warmth this year. :campfire:
Utah gang,
Weathers been great here as well. A few small lightning fires,.....
Still plenty of good moisture..
Calf crop is great...
Bucks seem to be growing great..
Scouting trip and camp reserve next weekend..
Lot's of pics to come fellas. Looking forward to it....
Todd
I'm doing much better Paul thanks, I sure missed not making it to Mojam this year and seeing everyone. This weather is unreal!!!
Todd, Were counting the days my friend and it won't be long :bigsmyl:
Tracy
I'm loving it!
Great weather, the promise of the hunting season to come, and daydreaming of hunting while trying to burn some calories on the treadmill. I've killed a lot of spike elk and huge mule deer this summer as I'm running on the treadmill or heading down the trail.
The preparation for a hunt is almost as much fun as the event itself.
Keep after it guys.
It's been great. It's nice to get to work and not already be wet with sweat. And the bluegill fishing has stayed good as well. If it would stay like this right through September, that would suit me fine.
Tickled to see how well your doing Tracy and looking forward to hearing how well you guys do on that hunt.
Oh, it was 37ยบ here a couple mornings ago ;) and antelope season opens in 12 days... Told the wife it could just stay like this till Sept then get nice, :D Yep, I'm lovin it!!
Alright you rascals, I'm sick of thisHOT weather we're having. 100 - 105 degree temps are not normal at my house. :readit:
All the hard work will pay off Chris :saywhat: Sorry you guys are getting the crapy weather but it won't be long till it cools down. Crazy weather thats for sure.
Tracy
I am with Ron,
PLEASE take yur weather BACK!!!
Its hard on us webfoots...
