Title: Some defective arrows from ETAR courtesy of Dragon Rider
Post by: vermonster13 on July 27, 2009, 04:09:00 PM
Got two dozen of these from Paul at ETAR (400 CX Traditionals 175 point). Was tuning them up to my 41@29 Black Swan belly mount hybrid. A little breakage.

Notice how the hood isn't center in the bull though...  :readit:

You only do that stuff when I'm not there to see it.  :knothead:

I think out of all your swans I like that one the best.It shoots 10#'s heavier than what it actually is.

"A sagittis hungarorum libera nos Domine" O Lord, deliver us from the arrows of the Hungarians?

That's new to me... Something to worry about?    :knothead:

Dave, think you could do that a few more times?  I need a dozen arrows, and that might be the proper length!

Man, I just did that twice in two days.  Once with a carbon and once with a woody.  Not real good shooting on my part, just missed in the same spot twice.

If Bob's arrows are made the way his ancestors' were you can see why the prayer came to be.  Pulling his arrows is more like javelin extraction than arrow pulling.    :)

Better lucky than good anytime 8^).  I once had a near robinhood in the five ring at forty yards as well.  Problem is it was an American Round Target and the center is a 9.

Good job with "bad arrows" Dave.
You guys should see what happens to a carbon arrow when a wood arrow telescopes it. Not pretty.
