I have never shot carbons much.But am buying some CX 150 heritage arrows to try out.
My bows are 48 to 57#s at 29.5 inch draw.I draw 29.5 to 30.Arrows are cut to 30.5 inches.Most the bows are pretty high performance that I have and have FF type strings.Most are cut to center with a couple 1/8th out from center.I got points in 125,145,175 and 225 grains.
Whats are you guys experience with these 150s in bows in this weight range, draw length and approximate arrow length?what weight points are you using out of bows in this weight range?Looking for feedback.

I shoot them out of my Super Shrew. #54 @ 30". Arrow is 30.5 standard insert w/200g point. 125g Woodsman on a 75g steel adapter works beautifull. 580g total weight

I shoot'em out of my 50# BW. Cut to 29" 75grs up front with 150 grn heads. You have a lot of options with these shafts. This combo bare shafted out of my bow almost dead straight at 18 yds.

Are some of you guys footing these shafts with aluminum?If so what size aluminum?Also these arrows I am getting have the standard inserts.
You can foot them with 2216's or 2117's ... the 2117's are a little tight. They sure can take a beating after being footed. I just use the footed one for stumb shooting.

I have the same draw length and can shoot the arrows you describe out of the same weight bows just fine. You probably can't go super heavy on the point weight, but up to about 200 grains with aluminum inserts should work on most of your bows, and a little less point weight maybe on the heavier bows. You have to try them on your bows, but I am pretty sure you will be able to do fine with those arrows by just adjusting the point weights to the bows. If you want to shoot really heavy broadheads with brass inserts, you probably need to go up to the 250's.
I think you can get the aluminum collars from 3Rivers that fit at the point end behind the inserts. I know they are available for some shafts, like my AD Hammerheads, but I'm not sure if any of those sizes fit the 150's. I like the collars a lot, especially if you don't use brass inserts or if you are shooting at really tough objects. There are also nock end collars available from 3Rivers. I have not had any problem with the nock ends splitting using the standard push-in nocks with the CE Heritage arrows, although at times the nock may come out if you hit a very hard object like a rock, a concrete wall, a metal fence or even a stump. Therefore, I don't think you need to do collars or footing on the nock ends on those arrows, but you could if you wanted to. I have been very impressed with the Easton uni-bushings and g-nocks as far as durability and strength. I do think they help reinforce the nock end of the arrows. The problem with them is that once they are installed you will not easily be able to do anything to the rear of the arrow, such as cutting it to reduce arrow length, using a metal rod to help knock out front inserts, using extra weights that may screw in to the back of some inserts, adding weight tubes, etc. The g-nocks are rotatable to adjust fletching orientation, which is nice. I do not regret having them installed on my AD Hammerheads.

I could not get the 150's to tune to my bows via bareshaft at that length.
I use 250's out of my 2 recurves, 48@28 and 54@28, Also shoot them out of Bear Montana 50@28.
All bows cut to center, Fast flight string, shafts cut at 30. I use 100g insert and 125 heads.

I will be doing some testing when I get them.Its good that I got all these field point weights to playaround with.These arrows should be interesting to try after shooting wood and aluminum all these years.

Eric, I have not tried the CX 150's but Iam having good results with both AD lites and GT 55/75's out of my 60" shrew 56#@30. These are full length and heavy up front. You are welcome to try them out if you would like.

i only shoot the 250s outta anything from 53-60lbs all cut 30 1/2 with a 200 grain head. amazing arrows!
