Title: Bow Care
Post by: Hippy on July 19, 2009, 01:51:00 PM
I was curious to see what you guys did to take care of your bow, like putting any kind of wax or polish on your bow.  Would there be any advantage of doing this?

Other than waxing my string, I don't do anything.

That's the beauty of shooting these bows.

I use GEL-GLOSS WORKS GREAT it protects, seals, and shines. when hunting I use limb covers.
finger prints dont show as bad.GEL-GLOSS is made to protect fiberglass, marble, and acrylic.

Nada. I bought a dark limbed bow to avoid the nonsense of limb covers. I don't care about scratches and often use my blow to block a zipping branch instead of my face (seems smart to me      :D    ) ! I think of them as scars, not scratches and they're evocative of fine hunts! IMHO.

Yea! I love my battle scarred bows. Can't sell 'em or trade 'em. That's why I have so many.
