If I didn't know better I'd swear by looking at that picture it was about 10 degrees out and he'd been hunting in an ice storm by the look of the bushes.....
But I know better....
It's a cool picture, but it is deceiving.....
It was a chilly, windy TX morning, and dry as a bone....last day of the Solana Ranch hunt...and I was there...
Congrats again bud on a fine shot with that Pronghorn!
Wouldn't mind hearing the story again
Great Pic Randy ! Those Texas deer are tough , he went a long ways even with a good hit , I remember trailing him with you , a highlight moment of the hunt , congrats , Fred
I remember that day, and it was windy and cold!
But, I remember a lot more people were there trying to keep warm by tracking and dragging deer....

Very Nice!!
That was an amazing trip. I had a chance to meet some of the most amazing people who taught me alot. That picture is one of my favorite ones Jeff. That one is hanging on the wall in my house. The memories of the people who shared that experiance with me will live forever in my heart. He was also my first whitetail buck with a bow.
I remember Randy's exitement...... :campfire:
