Where can you get good self stick Velcro type rest and strike plate material in a good size piece to cut for my bows?
go to wal-mart in the craft section, get the industrial strngth type.
I found some heavy stuff, industrial grade at Walmart in the craft section... enough to do a lifetime of rest and strike plates for under $10.00.

I was going to try there, but was not sure if they would have it. Is it self stick?
Yep, peel-n-stick with paper tape on the back that peels off.
Great thanks. Sounds like a hard deal to beat.
Thats where I get mine is at Wal Mart, great rest material.
If you can't find it there go to Lowe's or Home Depot. They may have it. I have a little hardware store close to the house that I get mine from in strips about 3" wide and you buy by the foot. Of course it's one of those old hardware stores where you can find just about anything!

Got to love those places! I wish I had one a little closer to the house. I like spending time in those almost as much as bow and gun shops.
The best I have found is made by 3M. I work in aviation and we use it for everything. It is extreemly durable and last longer than any other I have tried. And if you stay with one brand you can be assured the pile/nap will be a consistant height.
I get it at Home Depot. You can also buy the velcro that is pre cut into circle shaped peices. That works great, just peel and stick.
