How fast do yall think a 55# chek-mate crusader longbow shoot with a 560 grain arrow??
How far ar you drawing it?
I don't know the exact speed but I can tell you that my Crusader (56# @ 28", my draw is 27") shooting a 555gr arrow was enough to go through the back edge of the shoulder of a cow elk last sept and went through both lungs and stopped at the back edge of the rib cage. She went about 75 yds. and piled up. I'll be shooting it this sept again but have added 55 grains to put me at 610gr. I haven't noticed much difference in the speed of the bow with the extra weight. This is my go to bow.

I haven't shot my Crusader through a chrono but it shoots pretty fast.It is a great design,it has a reverse taper lam just like 21st Century uses in their bows.I feel that helps give a bow extra speed. But like said there are alot of factors in speed, your draw length, type of string, how many strands? But they are a good solid performing longbow.
Im drawing 27"
The will be within a few fps of any longbow of the same style. I would worry more about how well you can shoot it. It will be plenty fast.
