Just got off the phone with Vince from Mohawk bows and have to say he is a very nice guy and took the time to answer all my questions. Thinking about a 64" with Dirty bamboo veneers and a two-tone Cocobolo and Bacote riser.
If you have something similar and want to post some pictures and what your thoughts are on his bows please do so. His lead-time is short and I could have it before the fall is over, maybe in time for a late season deer hunt.

Josh, thats the bow I would like to get, same riser with dirty Boo limbs! Here is mine it has Red Elm on the limbs now! I love this bow, pick it up and shoot it and it hits right where I'm looking! My buddy has a 55@28" thats 62" and I love that bow as well, they are shooters!
64" 52@28"

heres my newest one...red elm lams cocobolo handle..these are great bows and imho are still underpriced but shhhhhhh...lol
Dont have a pic. of mine but its a 64 in. 48 lbs @ 28 in. takedown model . For me its the smoothest drawing and the most quite bow I have ever shot . Dont let the mild reflex / deflex fool you , these bows are as fast as most any highly reflex / deflex longbows Ive shot . My Mohawk loves a heavier arrow so keep that in mind when you start your tuning .

Hey guys, I am very picky about handshock. I currently own 2 hybred LB with little to no handshock. On a scale of 1 to 10 (1-least - 10-most). give me an honest estimate of handshock on the basic Mohawk LB. Thanks for your opinions.
ZERO :clapper:
I'm having a hard time between the dirty boo or the red elm...both are very nice looking!
All the ones pictured above look great!
Bowhuntingfool...how does it compare to the Montana longbow? What model do you have?
Josh
Thanks Tom,

Here are some pics on the one I traded for my Kota. Coco handle and boo limbs. Very smooth and quick bow. Amazingly quiet too.

no comparison between a montana and mohawk..i have both and the mohawk is way better in all aspects imho...you cannot go wrong with a mohawk.the red elm is very nice looking for sure.ZERO handshock
I also have a montana, and like it, but the mohawk is so much better. The hawk just feels more solid esp after the shot, also has more of an early draw weight? feels that way to me.
The grip is longer on a mohawk for those with a wider hand...the 4" grip on the montana is my only real dislike.
I love my Mohawk LB. It's the only bow I have now. I cannot feel any handshock. Especially since it shoots heavy arrows so well. Ken
62" 58#@28" No hand shock, quiet.

What wood is in the veneers on that?
Nice looking bow!
Josh
Bocote(riser).....kind of a nut about that wood. Lots of character. Bloodwood stripe. And your "dirty bamboo" limb veneers.
