I have been thinking about trying out the Kanati, and just wondered if any of you that had experience with one, could post some experience comments.
Thanks
L Hunt
Nice bow, good value.
I have had two. They are a fine bow.
I like mine. It's fast and I can shoot it really well. The price is right too!
It's 60", 51# @ 28". I haven't tried the shorter bows, but this one is very smooth. I wish it came in a 62" length, though.
I have two. They are about all I shoot now. My youngest son has a 58" 51# @ 28". My cousin has an earlier JK Traditions 56" 52 @ 28. Mine are in my signature. They draw smooth, quiet and smoke an arrow. The workmanship is second to none. Jason is a hunter, so he makes hunting bows. The finish is matte so there is no shiny reflection in the woods. They are short, handy bows in the blind, in a tree stand or on the ground. They point naturally and shoot better than I can. They are also the best value in custom bows available IMHO. Jason is a great guy, a great bowyer and a Tradgang member.
I have other bows, but my 52# Kanati is the one that goes hunting with me. You won't be sorry if you order one.
I have a 58" Kabekona which is as far as I can tell the same bow. I love it. Very smooth and fast, and it shoots right where I look.
I have a 58" Kabekona made Made by JK Traditions which I believe is the same bow,and I love it.
30coupe said it all , if your wanting a short hybrid longbow thats easy to shoot and shoots a wide range of spine then the Kanati is the best bow I know of .

i enjoy mine...its taking some time to adjust to shooting a longbow (i only shoot heavy recurves like my widow) but its a shooter. Its light, fast, has a smooth draw, little to no hand shock, spits an arrow for sure, and is a joy to shoot. Once I find some arrows I like out of it I will be all set!
Mine is 58" 57@28
I love mine to death! smoothest, fastes, most quite bow I ever shot, its 55lb @28", it will blact a 580g arrow with authority no joke, I love the grip to, trust me for its value its the best bow you can get
I have a 55lb. @26 56" Kanati its a shooter for sure! Jason is great guy and bowyer.
Russ...what do you draw your 58" bows to?
I'd like to try one but not sure if I'd want 58" or 60".
I do like my 56" Kajika curve a ton though!

I've got a 56" Kanati, and love it to pieces. To me its a perfect hunting bow - quiet, light and smooth to draw, quick on the shot, finish is as tough as nails but doesn't have that odd shine to it.
Didn't come with the fancy woods, but it's right at home against a tree or in the stand.
I pull mine back to 28.5", 28.75" when I get excited, no problems with stacking. :D
I owned a Kanati, and I can confirm all that has been said about this bow. Workmanship, and finish is impeccable. Quick as well.. I would not hesitate working with Jason.
I have a 58" Kanati in the mail. Should be here I hope by Thursday. Have only heard good things about the Kanati. Can't wait to try it out. Jason was great to work with.
Josh,
I draw 28" with no stack what-so-ever. My eldest son draws 29+ and has shot my bows. He says they are smooth as butter as far as he draws. I have never felt even the slightest bit of hand shock with a Kanati.
Jason recommends a 60" if you draw over 29-1/2". My max is 28" so I can't say just how they would be over that. As many have said, Jason is great to work with and will fix you up with just what you want/need.
