Two weeks ago, I went away to the hunting camp. I was checking out some oaks to see which were producing acorns and I found a matching set of 9 point sheds. I took a picture of them with my cell phone and it started vibrating. My wife was calling and told me she just picked up my new bow at the post office. I sat there thinking how cool it would be if I kill that buck with the KajikaStik this coming season. I'll have fun trying anyways.
The bow is a 56" recurve 51# @ 28", crossgrain gray actionwood riser and limbs with bamboo cores. This bow impressed me on the first shot. It's easy to shoot for being a short bow. It's faster than my D/H Mamba but very stable and free of hand shock. It's very quiet and lives up to the Whisperstik name. I don't notice any difference in noise between shooting 9 and 11.5 grains per lb carbons. I'm really happy with the KajikaStik and just might sell two of my other bows. That will leave me with just this and my Fedora longbow.
Sorry about the picture. I didn't take it until it was almost dark because I was busy shooting the bow for the first time! I definitely could have arranged the antlers and bow better. :knothead:

JD Lund sent me a picture of a bow like mine with a set of diamondback skins. I don't know if the bow belongs to somebody on here but it would be nice to see it again. I must have deleted the email. The riser is exactly the same as mine.
Very sweet bow! JD makes an excellent product. Congrats!
Looks like a little bit of mojo might be in store for that buck you have the sheds for.
Leatherneck, the sheds were found near Caldwell, not too far from you.
JD does make an excellent product. I love that non-glare finish, it looks just about flawless. Of course you can't see that in the photo. :D
Been to Caldwell a time or two(NCI Prison). And not as a resident. Good hunting in those parts. You ought to get that Stik broke in real gooddin those parts.
Looks like a great bow and a nice set of sheds! I love my Whisperstik! Have fun and good luck with that buck this fall!
This the bow you wanted to see with the diamondbacks??

Like you had said, pics do not do this bow justice!! I'm already thinking of how to buy another!! Jim
Yep, that's the bow. The veneers on mine are the same as what you had on the longbow limbs. Those diamondbacks look sweet!
The bow fits me like a glove too. How do the longbow limbs compare?
Mike Just want to add that those sheds would make a very nice set of antler button limb bolts!
I guess I'll be ordering longbow limbs some time.
Antler bolts on the belly would look nice.
