With the hard times that are among us and so many good people out of work, I wanted to give something back to this great sport of ours. I have not done this in a couple of years so here we go.
I have a fairly new Marriah Thermal t/d recurve. It has two sets of limbs,#1 is 52#@28" and make it a 58" bow and #2 is 53#@28" and make a 60" bow. The 52# limbs have curly maple vaneers that are stained dark and the 53# limbs have red elm vaneers. The riser is wenge with zebrawood stripes. Tips are horn and there is a horn overlay on the back of the sight window. Comes with two new strings, one for the 58" limbs and one for the 60" limbs.
If you are or know of someone who is a bit down on their luck, send me a pm with the reason why you think you or someone you know should have this bow. There is only one stipulation to the winner, You can never sell this bow!!! When you are back on your feet you must pass it on to someoneelse in need and you must send me pictures of you shooting the bow!
Fair enough?
I do have some pics but am at work and cannot post from here.
I will be off island for two weeks starting the 11th of July and will be back on the 25th of July. I will pick the winner on the 26th of July.
So if you can help me keep this on page one until then as I may not have access to a computer while I am away.
So lets begin!
Danny

Hey my friend, good to hear from you. Not stopping, on business so just the hour layover then on the Houston.
I am going to Texas in November and would love to stop over for a day or two on the way back and hunt some pigs with ya. PM me and maybe we can work out the details.
Danny
What part of Texas are you going to be in? And if in Houston do you know what part of Houston?
Chester
Chester,
going on to DFW so just in the airport for a couple of hours.
In Nov I will be south of Houston in Sweeny to visit my Uncle and got a couple of hunts scheduled, one at Solana Ranch up by Austin and one over by Loredo.

"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
"And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
"And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
"Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; rejoiceth not in inequity, but rejoiceth in the truth; beareth all things, hopeth all things, endoreth all things.
"And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity."

Again great thing for you to do, whoever you choose I am sure will be very greatful. If my fiance doesn't like shooting trad (she has done it off and on) i might give away her Damon Howatt bows, since some nice gentleman in the past gave me 2 of them for the cost of shipping
Danny you are the man... Very very nice thing to do..
Cody
Good stuff Dan. When I see folks being considerate of others it makes my day. BTW, I have too many bows already so please do NOT include me.
You will really brighten someones day up Danny.
Thanks so much...
Let me bring this back to the top !!!
I am assuming these are righthanded bows..???
Just one bow, with two sets of limbs, yes right handed.
Well, it was a hard choice but I have chosen a winner. Winterhawk1960 nominated his brother and that is who won. Congratulations and I only wish I had a bow for each of the nominees, but alas, only this one. Winterhawk, contact me for shipping details.
Danny
congrats!!! nice one danny :notworthy:
Danny,
I am humbled, as I am sure that my brother will be also.....that you chose him for the recipient of this most generous gift. I sent you a PM with the mailing address.
Once again folks.....no where else on this planet can you find people that are as helpful and generous as they are here with the traditional archery folks. May God Bless you sir.
Winterhawk1960
