My new Morrison has arrived. The limbs 38@28 carbon foam, western diamondback D limbs. The riser is Zebra with Gabon Ebony flare I think and a Kudu overlay. It is shooting pretty well.

Beautiful, Absolutely Beautiful......... :wavey:
Yes it is a dandy, Gene.
-I really like the adjustable limbs-.
The string is something you might not notice but it is really nice too. I'm shooting 32" 400s loaded to 19 or 20% FOC. It bends then real well.
Im in the process of ordering a set of Bob's new Dakota limbs to fit my Cheyenne riser. Hopefully it will look as nice as yours when I get it all together. My riser is an "A" charcoal diamond wood with accent stripe and kudu on back with finger grooves. I'm going to order "D" 57# foam core limbs with clear glass and veneers [ not sure which veneers?? will look the best?]but they will have kudu tips to match the riser.
Your new bow is sure a Beauty... congrats again
Gene :wavey:

Thats a great looking bow i should be getting mine any day know.
wow, i love eye candy. that is a sweet bow!
Sure is a looker.
Beautiful Zebra on the riser! Very nice.

Congrats Larry, wery well designed loaded with everything, enjoy it.We will meet in Colorado to make some round together and hopefully chase some critters up in the Rockies.Felix
I just picked up my Morrison ILF this past weekend at The Archery Shop. I shipped the used riser I bought to Bob and had him convert the ILF connection on the Cocobolo riser to the new metal hookup he is using. He also built a set of carbon back/foam core/black glass belly limbs for me. C limbs on a B riser, 49#@28" and Copperhead skins on the back of the limbs. It sure shoots sweet. I'll get some pics posted soon.
Bill
Great looking bow I love the Zebra wood. I have a ILF riser/carbon foam core "B" limbs snake skinned on order and a set of the new Cheyenne longbow foam core "A" limbs bocote veneer on order also. Both bows will be 54" I just love short bows my Morrison 54" Cheyenne Recurve is a sweet shooting machine can't wait to try the longbows out.
i'd sure like to see those nice pinecones put on that has to be interesting . enjoy
Thanks to all for the compliments, and thanks to Bob for he is the one who picked out the wood and did the outstanding workmanship.
Gene I bought the limbs already made and had them skinned so they don't have the kudu tips. But that will give me something to save for, another set of heavier limbs with kudu tips. Your bow will be nice too.
Wildman; I made sure this riser has the upgrade, seems like a much better way to go. Those carbon foam limbs are great. I really notice it on work nights, they are so much light it seems.
Steel; I have too long a draw for that short of limbs. I do like the cane brake and the copperheads as well. But I thought the western diamond backs would match the western scenery better.
wisconsin wood butcher, I was blown away when I saw those pine cones in person. I do some carving of my own and it is a first class job.
Very nice indeed. Congrats and Thanks for sharing the pictures. Flint
Very nice looking bow. Congratulations! :clapper:
An incredible looking bow and I bet it shoots terrific. One of Bob's bows is at the top of my want list. Will have to be a used one though. Just haven't found the right combination yet.
