Well it's not quite the 4th yet, but i'm on the computer now and probably won't be tomorrow.
First, i'd like to thank everyone who has or is currently serving our country, A BIG THANK YOU!
Second, i hope everyone is having a happy and healthy holiday. Today we just lounged around the yard and i even got some bow building in. the bow i'm working on in the picture is for my son who really wanted to help, as you can see. don't worry i wasn't actually using the drawknife when he was sitting like that, we were just posing, but he sure did want to help. the bow will be an osage self bow, 36" long.

Don't take this the wrong way but I wish people would start calling it Independence Day. The very signing of that document led to many men being tortured, losing all their possessions, and their lives. It would be great if we all practiced a little more independence and a little less dependence. Not trying to say that you are unpatriotic,your post shows quite the opposite, just feel like the true meaning is slipping away.
