Does anyone make their own Flu Flu Feathers ?
If so did you buy a chopper or are you juts cutting the feathers with a knife ? Have you made them out of turkey feathers ?
Thanks
How are you trying to cut them? All I do is buy full length feathers and cut them length wise to about 4 or 5 inches long. This way I can usually get 2 fletching per feather.
Here are a few different ones that I have made:

Larry, no rules when it comes to flething flu-flus! Cut them with scissors or a knife, or on turkey, goose wing feathers you can split the membrane from the end. Spiral wrap or full length, etc. Use your imagination. The idea is more resistance on the fletch end, to stable faster and shorten the flight. If you have short cut pieces from full lengths, just double or triple up in the fletching clamp and glue-on. Kids, flu- flus and ballons...whole lot of fun! I'm a big kid! Good shootin, Steve.
