Nice!  The Kajika is growing on me.  What are the veneers on the LB limbs?  Looks kind of like gray action wood in the riser, but can't tell.  Looks a little different in color.

Good job quitting smoking! I should have waited another 8 years (not) then I could have talked the wife into letting me buy bows with the extra money.  At today's rates I could have a new one every few months.

I'd say that is a great trade-off. It's a beauty.  Now you'll be shooting it in even better health!

Awesome trade. A beautiful bow and potentially more years to shoot it.  My hat is off to you.

Nice looking bow(s). Really would be interested in knowing how the Longbow limbs shoot in comparison to your Monarch.
Monarchs just seem to fit me perfect. thought about trying a 3 piece L/B, but haven't yet. Keep us posted

Thanks everyone, I'm very proud of this bow as it will have alot of meaning to me!! JD builds a beautiful bow as you all have seen!!  My monarch is the bow that I measure all bows by! and I have shot JDs' other two bows the mojostik and voodoostick and fell in love with them but wanted a 3pc takedown so the kajika filled the bill!!  I'll post up pics when i get her and have her set up, and let you all know how she shoots with both limbs,(RC/LB)
as far as the longbow limb lams, i'm not sure, but i'll guess that they are grey action, edge grain! Maybe JD will chime in at some point!!  the long bow limbs will have diamond back skins like the recurve at some point!  Thanks again all, Jim

Jim, if you like the mojo and voodoo you will love this Kajika. They are everything and more. Great looking combo, I have never had a gray bow and have been lusting over them.

Send me a p.m. I have a Kajika with the recurve limbs but am interested in hearing your report on the long bow limbs.

Tom
