Title: MAMBA/ what's comparable in speed
Post by: aquafang on June 27, 2009, 12:48:00 PM
I currently have a Martin Mamba 60#@28 i use exclusively for bowfishing.  I am shooting the heavy fiberglass arrows.  It zips them pretty good.  I love this bow.(in fact if anyone has one for sale im looking) I want to get another, but since I use it for bowfishing, I'd like to find something 'not so perfect".  It will see wear and tear.  So, If I can't find a mamba, what bows are comparable or even faster I should keep a look out for?

If your happy shooting Howatt [ Martin] bows [and rightly so] I would suggest looking for a Hi-speed or hunter model.  Another great bow is a Red Wing Hunter.  All three are fast and proven preformers.  :wavey:

Ty,  Martin also made a Super Diablo which is a 60" bow.  Pretty quick,  pretty. etc.

They are out there.

Nighthawk.  If you were commenting on my post, it is 60# and that seems to be a bit much for the newbies and kids.  If it was 50 I wouldn't still have it.  I edited the original post and deleted that statement.  Probably doesn't need to be in Pow Wow.  I PM'd Ty and that is where it should have gone anyway.

It is just sitting with my "pile" of other bows.
