My 62" Bob Lee pro hunter is set at 7 3/4" right now. It seems for my bow it is best between 7 3/4
to 8", Dacon string.

For my recurve limbs 7 5/8 to 8 seemed to be best with my longbow limbs I keep it a little less about 7 1/2. I use D-97 for string material and did not notice any difference from the factory string.

I set it at 8" dacron or D97. 62" take down hunter longbow.
