Have some leather, need to make a quiver. Anyone have pictures of side, tube, back quivers they made? Im looking to make something compatible with hunting, and with 3-d/shoots. I can make more than one...
Come on guys, show em off. :saywhat:
I'll play Jamie!This is a Jeremy quiver.

Jamie,
sne Ron W a pm, he makes some AWESOME quivers!
Hey Ken... what are you, my agent....I think thats the leather I traded to Jamie...
That it is Ron. I figure if I start now, I may have one by the Muzzy...
Jeff, I have always liked your quivers. But Im a novice...this will be my second. :goldtooth:
Brian, is that the one you got this winter, or another? Jeremy makes some sweet stuff...quivers and knives.
jamie i am a novice as well.
Jamie, if this is your second then your novice standing is gone. Just think about all the things you like about certain kinds of Quivers, take the best attributes of each, make a paper or cardboard test pattern and then ...go for it. Think it out and plan ahead you'll do fine...
What ron w said! Try out some different test quivers to see what you might want to make. Something else to keep in mind is the leather you have. It might be too heavy for some styles of quivers, or need to be lined with something to make it suitable for some types.
You've seen most of my recent ones, but check the Classifieds for some pics. The one I'm working on now has this on it (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v212/fliksr/quivers/th_dscn2548.jpg) (http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v212/fliksr/quivers/?action=view¤t=dscn2548.jpg)
:D That's a 5x6.25" panel that'll be fully beaded. The lower panel is slightly smaller. The quiver is looking awesome.
For more ideas, check out Shell's pages. She has a few hundred pics up, so it'll take some time! I'll PM you the link in a bit
Check out the "How To" section. Saw a great example of a side quiver with a detailed drawing to make it.
Good advice guys. I made a back quiver for JLMBH 08, I think it is still holding together. This time Im leaning towards a stalker type, and/or a leather tube type.
The leather is pretty stout...and I have some scraps from my first deer hide left for trim, laces, ect.
Thanks everyone.
