Title: Love the smell of a new bow in the morning!
Post by: Oliverstacy on June 22, 2009, 11:24:00 AM
Ya gotta love the new bow smell...you can always smell the leather in your hand after your don't shooting it.

Anyway finally have one with snakeskins on it.  56" KajikaStik 57 @ 28" drawn to 29.5" easily which makes it right at #60's, it doesn't feel that heavy...feels lighter than my 60" 55# longbow.

For the tech/spec people:
#57 @ 28"
Riser...is Zebrawood/Osage
Limbs...bamboo cores with brown glass on the back covered in Canebrakes and Curly/burly osage belly veneers under clear glass.

Unbelievably smooth draw with no finger pinch...I was a bit apprehensive buying this bow but I'm glad I did.

Love my new target also:

Yep that is off the farm and out of the below stump...wild looking stuff.  I'll take a full picture of the veneer tomorrow unstrung so you can see the burly part.
