Got this in while I was off island for a week and have been getting it tuned. Seems to like my AD Trads and CX 250's as well as some GT trads all with 400 gr total up front. I have owned several of Jacks bows and they have all been shooters, this one is no exception plus it is the most beautiful I have seen. 70",66#@28" double carbon over boo limbs, the most beautiful cocobolo riser I have ever seen with dall sheep overlays on the back of the riser and buff horn on the belly, polished sheep horn tips. For the time being I am shooting it ok, but is a bit heavy for my old shoulders,69# at my draw. If it becomes too much I will sell it but for now it stays right here.

Beautiful!
Another great looking bow in your stable. Looks to be a very nice shooter.
Yeah, Justin, you know how to tempt me,LOL.
Danny
Great, beautiful weapon. I have a question or 2:
Who builds the Harrison longbow?
Are they available as 2 pc takedown?
Again...awesome bow!
Kevin Dill
Kevin, Jack is still building them. Here is a picture of a takedown he built for me earlier in the year. Beautiful and great performing bows.

Does Kevin Jack have a website?
So that looks to be a bayonet-type td system...fiberglass or carbon fiber...definitely not a metal sleeve or other metallic fixture.
I definitely like the custom touches and overlays.
Web address?
Kevin
oops....I think on closer inspection that IS a metal sleeve td system.
Kevin
You can contact Jack Harrison via his website. http://www.jackbharrison.com/
The new takedown system is carbon. His older bows had a metal takedown system. The carbon makes the bow very lite, yet there is no handshock.
Here is a picture of his older metal takedown system from one of my other bows.

yes very nice bow. I love my siberian 66" 80#. Marlon
LOL, Marlon, this one would be a bit lite for you, but it is a shooter.
Yeah, Gil this one has the metal sleeve system and at 70" is very smooth even at my 29" draw, not that heavy either.
I also like the metal system as well as the carbon. Danny you always have beautiful bows. Keep the pictures coming.
Gil
I have two of each type of Jack's takedowns and with the exception of the full metal system's additional weight, they are nearly identical.
I've recently emailed Jack about a new td...he seems like a good guy.
What do you think of his bow's shooting qualities?
Difficult to find good pics; anyone know where to look?
