I'm looking to go with some aluminum arrows for a Bear KH. I shoot a 29 inch arrow with 125 gr points. Was thinking either 1916's or 2016's.I've only shoot woodies for years. Thought maybe you aluminum shooters could point me in the right direction. Thanks
What are the specs of the bow what's your draw weight and at what length? Etc etc
I shoot a Bear Take Down 50# at 28" Draw 28" Shoot a 29" arrow. I shoot XX75 500's (2016) 3- 4" parabolic feathers right offset, 125gr field points or 125gr Snuffer heads. Arrows fly really well with both broad heads and field points.
Sorry guys. I left the most important part out. The KH is 45@28 ,my draw is 28 inches and arrows will be 29 inches. Thanks
1916s would be a closer match for 125 tips.
I too like 1916's for bows with those specs, but do not overlook the 2114 if you find some cheap ones. ;)
Sounds like a 1916 is the one to go with. If I go with a 145 gr head ,will it change much??
I shoot 47# at my 27" draw w/ a 28" arrow and a 2016 shoots perfect for me...just my choice.
The link below helped me tune my bow with different weighted heads shooting aluminum arrows.

Thanks for the link! I'm gonna see what I can find at Compton today as far as Alum arrows. Thanks guys
I have the same bow and shoot 1916 alums, 50-55 woodies.
