In the recent Compton's Summer 2009 publication, I see an ad for a new traditional archery magazine. Just wonder if anyone has seen it? Does it have color photo's, good written stories, helpful articles ect...
I believe it is the new face(and owner) of The Bowyers Journal!
If you look at the banner ads at the top of the forum home you can see the banner for them. Tom is the new owner and is a great guy, with great plans for the mag. Chuck
P.S. Pat is correct. It is the former "Bowyers Journal.
I have issue one and like it. Between the new TAW and TBM, I should have a steady supply of reading material.
I have the first issue and really enjoyed reading it.Looking forward to my next issues.

the latest issue should be around anytime. I spoke with Tom a week or so ago and he said it was at the printer. Look for it soon.
Hi guys! Just got back from Cloverdale, which was a fantastic event except for my shooting. The Summer issue of TradArchers' World should have been mailed Friday or will be tomorrow (Monday). It is all color and has more than 20 stories on how-tos, improving accuracy, first traditional harvests, bowyer's interview and more. I'd also like to say "thanks" for the wonderful hospitality from Ferret's gang, Morgan Hill Bowhunters and Twin Oaks Bowhunters.
Hope to see many more tradgangers at Compton's next weekend. Tom Colstad owner/editor TAW
