Post by: djanko on June 09, 2009, 05:51:00 PM
Shooting a 50-54lb / 28 longbow with a 29.5 draw and now getting a 62' Assenheimer Recurve at about 54lbs do I use the same spined arrows that I've been using on my longbows. I've been using tradional AD's and also have some
ce Heritage 150's ...Any recommendations???

Depends on if you are shooting a longbow that is cut to center or not. Most likely they will work from both bows with some tuneing.

I agree, since they are carbons chances are no problems at all. Worst case might be building the riser at the arrow rest out a little for adjustment.

I shoot the same arrow out of my 61# recurve that I do out of my 62# longbow which is not cut to center. I left them at the same length (I have a shorter draw with my longbow than my recurve). Fly great.

Try them. I have a longbow that shoots stiffer arrows than a recurve of the same weight.

I shoot the same AD Trad Lites out of all my bows. Long bow and recurve alike. So far I've had no flight issues.
