I'm really liking the looks of the Spirit Longbows. I know nothing about them, anybody have some experience with them or any input would be much appreciated!
Thanks!
I bought one about 5 months ago. 62 inch 50# 28. I find it's all I'm shooting at the moment. A very nice bow for the price.
Excellent Hybrid style L/B by Bryan Holley of Granby CO.
Like Traveller said a nice bow at a nice price. I have a Spirit recurve and like it but I have also shot a longbow a few times (my nephew has one). They are good bows, it all comes down to that personal preference thing. Oh yeah, and Bryan is a good guy.
I bought one about 2 months ago. It is my first longbow so I cant compare it to anything else, but I know I love it. Mine is a 62" 44#@28" but I draw to a tad over 30". They are smooth drawing and very quite.
Thanks guys, I like the fact that their quiet, thats what I wanted to hear... pardon the pun... :archer:
Lets see some pics.
I have one its 62 inches 47@28...really zips my carbons fast. Does well on woodies. It has zebrawood veneers and red elm core limbs, red elm might be one of my favorite corewoods , the rise has some black in it, its cool looking bow. Shoots where I look . Grip is slightly dished . The bowyer is diamond in the rough . :)
The finish is fair.
I know im dredging up an old post here, but just curios if there are any more folks out there shooting Spirit (Bryan Holley) Bows? Just looking for both pros/cons that anyone may have.
Im just getting into Traditional and have it narrowed down to a few bowyers, Bryan being one of them.
Any info. greatly appreciated.
Try one from rmsgear.com on this site from CO. good people, excellent bow for the $$, mine was a little loud w/FF but dead quiet w/B50 and that's what Bryan recommends, Good Luck ...
