Title: Cat Quiver Mini Question
Post by: Paul the Viking on June 06, 2009, 06:46:00 AM
I want to buy a catquiver mini to strap to my daypack.  I like the idea of being able to move it from one pack to another.  How well does the mini work on various pack sizes?  Is a special attachement needed? Has anyone done this and had problems? Any tips would be appreciated.

The mini that I purchased came with one strap so the quiver could be worn slung over a should like a traditional back quiver. another strap is available so the quiver cane be worn like the other cat quivers. You will need to make up some kind on attachment to attach it to your quiver. I used some of the loops that were on the side of my pack to attach the quiver. I did drill holes in the alum. bar of the quiver and used plastic wire ties to keep it from sliding up and down on the pack. If your pack doesn't have loops you'll need to be more creative. Hope this helps.

the catquiver comes with 2 eyelets on each side of the quiver to affix the shoulder strap LH or RH. these eyelets can be used to secure your mini to your pack any way you want

Sorry it's on the wrong side of the pack in this picture. I put a couple pack straps around the bar of the quiver. I left it so that it would slide up and down. That way when I took a break and sat down it would slide up and out of the way but then would return to the lower position when I stood back up.
