Finally, after 4 months of physical therapy on my left surgery I'm shooting again. Thanks to Dennis Hans, who loaned me a 30# Stemmler recurve, I've got something I can draw and shoot. I picked up a half dozen Carbon Express Heritage 150's to shoot in it. I shot about 30 arrows a couple nights ago, and shot 100 tonight. It's slowly coming back. Just the fact that it's been a few years since I shot a traditional bow makes it difficult enough. I had to be careful after a while shooting, because I would start to rush my release as I got tired. Unless, my shoulder is too sore, I'll shoot again tomorrow night.
Great news. :clapper: Take it easy on yourself for a while.
I can imagine after that long without, you want
to shoot, shoot, shoot.
Go Slow, and do not over do it, there is plenty of time. Glad to hear your shooting again. Remember, SLOW!
Your post was not clear. Elbow or shoulder?
hang in there and take your time mending.bd

I tore the two upper muscles in my rotator cuff of my left shoulder completely loose from the bone, and had a large tear of my bicep tendon.
Take it easy there D.A. My shoulder still gets sore when I shoot from the surgery I had 2 years ago. Don't push yourself too much!
