I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed a weight difference between the newer Heritage arrows and the older ones? I have a dozen 150's that are about 2 years old. My finished arrows weigh almost 30 grains more than the newer 150's that I just bought. Just wondering what they changed and why??

I noticed a difference in my 250's as well right at 25 grains. They still shoot good but they are not as tough. Have experienced more failures at the insert with the newer "lighter" ones.

i have a dozen 150's that are a couple of years old and ave 11 gpp.
So I guess they must have lightened them up some. That really stinks. The older 150's gave me a finished arrow of 530gr. Which was just about perfect out of my 51# Zipper. The new ones will be right around 500gr. Which is lighter than I prefer. I usually shoot around 550gr. for hunting.

I've noticed the same thing - my older 150's are heavier. Haven't really put the new ones throught the mill yet to see if there is a durability difference.
I just weighed some Heritage 350's that are full length with nocks right out of the bag...all of them were 403gr. I would think there would have been a few grains difference. But no, all right on the money. So, they are pretty close to 12gr. per inch.
