My niece, who is a good little athlete and seems pretty strong was dying to shoot my Shrew when I was shooting off the deck the other day. Never too soon to get them started is it?
Any suggestions for a good little real longbow for her to start out. Poundage?

My girl shoots a Ragim Ranger. It wasn't cheap, but as a takedown it can grow with her. Also, with a new riser (my oldest is left-eyed, the next one is right-eyed) and/or limbs, my younger kids will be able to use it when they're ready.
Give Mike a holler...he will build a great bow for your niece.
I got Mike to build one for my dauhter and it is incredible. She loves it!
