Jason, your loop to loop system for connecting the arrow to the line is just perfect!
In the latest TBM, "Rigging and Bowfishing Arrow"
Not sure why I didn't think of it after connecting my fly fishing gear that way for years. Leader to line, line to backing...all loop to loop...
Using the loop to loop system just makes it so much more convenient to change arrows for whatever reason.
I used it for the first time last weekend and immediately experienced the benefits bud....good stuff :notworthy:
I highly recommend all bowfishermen to at least try it out, I think you'll really like it!
I started rigging my bowfishing arrow with the loop to loop system a few years ago. It's one of those things that after you first try it you slap yourself on the forehead and say, duh, why didn't I think of that!
That I've been doing right along but I did like the tip for holding the nock in place while the glue dries, very handy thanx
:notworthy:
Yeah, he done a good job.
Thanks Jason

Not bad for a Chicago gapshooter!
;)
Is there pics of this any where on trad gang??
Jason knows bowfishing, that's for sure!
Ryan, I never noticed his teeth before. Oh, you said gapSHOOTER...my bad.
This year was the first time I tried bowfishing and I used Jason's article to set myself up.Everything went great and I got my first fish (sucker) bowfishing (http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r184/northernfisher/PICT0100.jpg) (http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r184/northernfisher/PICT0098.jpg)
Not real big but by th time our waters here in northern Ontario warm up enough to bow fish we might have a week to bowfish
:banghead:
By the way don't mind the dates on the pics I'm not good at setting that stuff on the camera.I need my teenage daughter to do that.
Gary, nice job! Those suckers are tough to hit, but I love to shootem! That's a nice set-up with the bottle! Good shootin, Steve
