Many will say True flight is top of the quality heap, and they are very good, though I've used plenty of Gateway's with no complaints whatsoever.  Some of the Gateways are a little higher profile than the True flights, and I can usually find a better deal on Gateway's but not always.  I'm rather partial to Gateway's Trebarks, which look great with barred feathers IMO, but I like True flights barred better for appearance sake.

I've not used AMG yet but have heard nothing but positives about them, they don't have any barred patterns as far as I know.

I've switched to the AMG. I like the grind a little better, it's a bit smaller base, which I prefer.

Their colors really pop too. I bought some pink shield cuts for my wife that'll darn near blind ya. Brightest pink feathers I've ever seen. The reds I bought for myself are a really deep color.

The AMGs seem to be as good as any, and cheaper too.

I've used AMG feathers and they have a real good grind on them that is about equal to Trueflight IMO.  If the had a nice shield die cut or full length I would probably use them more, but they have some nice vibrant color choices compared to Trueflight.

They are not made in Michigan.  The distributor is based in Michigan.  The feathers are from US turkey farms and are shipped to China processed and returned here for resale.  dino

Another AMG fan. After trying some I find they are more consitant on the grind than the others and I have never got a bad feather out of a bag of them.More colors would be nice but the ones they have are brite and do not fade out like some do.

I'm curious how much a container of feathers weighs.   :archer:

I use Trueflights. They have been the most consistent for me and dont seem to break down or bleed color or fade like the Gateways I have tried.I havent used AMG plan on trying some. Gateway does have some nice color blends.

I have always found the trueflight feathers a little easier to work with.  I think it has do to with the consistant grind on the base of the feather.  From feather to feather, each one lays right down on the shaft and gets a good seal.

I'm not sure if any sponsors sell amg feathers. There's an e.b.a.y store called bullseye feathers that has a great selection. Good prices and service..

As a dealer for both AMG and Trueflight, they are both quality feathers. I used AMG this year on my hunting arrows and was very happy. I've been selling quite a few to Tradgang members and so far no one has complained....

I like the brighter colors AMG offers. The only camo feathers are 4" parabolic only. Solid colors in 5" Parabolic and Shield, Full length.
At this time they don't offer HB Shields. If you have a Chopper, then you can buy full length and chop the style you want.

I believe I posted a thread under Sponsors Classifed with prices or just PM me.

I bought some Flo. Orange AMG feathers from Joe Skipp and they are high quality.  They are truly Flo. Orange, very bright.  Just what I wanted.

I have noticed that the base is quite a bit thicker than on Trueflights that I've used.  Not really a problem unless you shoot into an old, stacked cardboard bale like I do sometimes.  Still, I'll buy AMGs from now on, because the color is great and the feathers seem very good quality.
