the Traditional Bowhunters of Southern West Virginia has commited to a $100.00 donation to the St. Judes auction and has challenged ALL other Traditional Archery clubs to do the same.

hey Brian! just think how many traditional archery clubs are represented on this site everyday by their members. what a great donation this auction could get from these clubs if only a portion would step up to this challenge.

Come on fellas, I know with all the different clubs around the country there has to be some of ya that are willing to step up and match us! I can't think of a better cause to rally behind.

Just my thoughts, but maybe if the title to this topic read something to the affect "All Trad clubs challenged to donate for St. Judes". Otherwise I think this gets skipped.

I think you have a good point Dano but with "St. Jude" and "challenge" in the title, I'm betting it's getting looked at a BUNCH. maybe I'll have a moderator to edit it for us.

The information I've gotten from this site since I took up real archery in Dec has been worth way more than $100 and its all been free.

So for selfish reasons I will match the $100 on behalf of the Traditional Bowhunters of Georgia who appear from my association with them to be the finest group of archers around. I say on behalf of because I haven't heard back whether I am a member yet! LOL.

Either way I will match it on TBG's behalf. Mailing a check to Doug tomorrow.

thank you Sharptop! I actually wear a TBG t-shirt pretty regular. made a swap with one of the members last year for a TBSWV t-shirt. every penny gained thru this auction will be put to a VERY good use. we never know when someone from our own family might have to depend on the St. Judes for help someday.
