Title: Finish Flacking Off
Post by: wv lungbuster on May 29, 2009, 08:59:00 AM
I have a Bear Montana longbow that I use to bowfish with, It's been wet a few times but I always dried it when I returned home. Now I noticed the finish flacking off the upper limb, what should I do.

I would most likly try and sand as much of the old finish off as possible. Then apply 4-6 coats of Birchwood & Casey tru oil gun stock finish.bowdoc

That's what I'd do too especially if the bowdoc says so!
