Title: Question about arrow weight
Post by: coaster500 on May 28, 2009, 08:49:00 PM
I just got some Sitka GrizzlyStik Arrows and a test package of field tips from 100 to 300 grains. I cut the arrows and glued the inserts that came with them (355 gr without field tips). I have tried all the different weights and my bow (take down L/B 64" 46@27 -1/8 off center) seems to really like 125 gr and 200 gr. It hates 145. Shoots so so with 100, 175's and 300's are way left.
My question.....is this common to have two weights shoot equally well?

Thanks

Ryan

Most bows will handle a range of spines/front loading quite well.  However, your bow seems to like opposite ends of the spectrum rather than one end or the other, or the middle.  I think that is a bit unusual.
