I recently bought some carbon express heritage 150s. They were all much weaker than promised and not consistent in spine. We checked them against another batch and they were not the same. (they were weaker than the others)
Do you think this dealer is selling seconds as regular shafts? If the 250s I have coming prove to have the same problems I will contact the distributor and the makers of carbon express.
I have never heard of any company selling seconds but Gold Tip.
Alaskan Bowhunting Supply sold a bunch of seconds on e.bay
if you call them,I hope ya can speak korean or chinese.
I have shot Carbon Express for years and have only good things to say about there arrows,, may be a fluke to get some bad ones ,, are you positive they are not in spec? I have never heard of seconds from CX
You will not find a dealer selling CX seconds, and like James said you will only find GT sells off there seconds. AK Bowhunting sold off the Woodie shafts to a dealer who sold them on ****.
Give CX a call 800-241-4833.
From what you guys are saying I am guessing that the dealer is on the up and up. If these new shafts are out of whack then I'll be done with CX.
As far as I know, only GT was selling off blems. Personally, I stay away from handling any blems or seconds. I will only sell quality shafts to my customers.
Just wondering but what do you see wrong with them? You say they are weak and inconsistant but how much are you talking about?
Ive found the Heritage series to be spined HEAVIER than stated. Never lighter.
Who knows, could be a bad batch.
